荒诞喜剧《窗前明月，咣！》由魏泇丞和杜晓宇联合执导，杜晓宇是开心麻花的签约演员，和沈腾合作过《一念天堂》《独行月球》，和马丽合作过《李茂换太子》。另一个开心麻花演员黄才伦，也在《窗前明月，咣！》出演了一个重要角色。他出演的开心麻花电影那就更多了，比如《羞羞的铁拳》《李茶的姑妈》《这个杀手不太冷静》《独行月球》等。
《窗前明月，咣！》是一部典型的开心麻花喜剧电影，所有的故事都发生过在一个地方——酒店，通过各种误会制造笑料。费翔是男一号，他饰演了一位出色的律师胡恭平，费翔以其优雅的外表和诙谐的表演，为观众呈现了一个既立体又富有深度的角色。费翔通过精湛的演技，将胡恭平这个表面上冷静理智，但内心挣扎与复杂情感的角色诠释得淋漓尽致。
